Painting is my release, my outlet, my escape from the hustle and bustle of the busy day to day.

 

Drawing inspiration from the sights and sounds of our unique world I translate experiences, memories and emotions, into conceptual complex layers using colour, texture, form and light.

 

A deep affinity with the natural world informs expressive abstracts, telling simple stories of complex issues. My signature spiral represents evolution and our impact on the environment, a subtle symbol for conservation, evoking an important conversation and reminder that we need to protect our planet for future generations to enjoy.

 

Commercially trained I'm always keen to try something new using a wide array of tools and applicators, from traditional to random household objects. Feeling my way across the canvas the journey is as important as the destination.
