Elemental Series

 

Elemental is an exploration of prominent colours in Australian flora fauna and landscape. Two hero colours rich in their own right, a deep green and terracotta, form the base palette of this series. Individual paintings extrapolate their relationship, how they complement and contrast and their relationship in variations of hue as tints, shades and blends. Tactile textures remain a key feature of this series with some subtle simplicities including stripping back parts of some paintings to have no texture at all.

 

My signature spiral is dominant once again to continue the important conservation message.
